The West Suburban Chicago chapter of Jack and Jill of America’s beautillion is a leadership experience, geared towards young men of African descent, designed to cultivate and encourage personal and academic excellence and civic engagement.
Young men who are juniors or seniors in high school during the 2025-2026 school year, are of high moral character, and have a 2.7 GPA or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
Beaus need to be available Sunday afternoons beginning December 2025 until March 2026.
There is a $600 non-refundable participation fee that covers a number of activities, including professional ballroom dance instruction, an etiquette dinner, professional headshots, social and volunteer events, catered food and beverages for all rehearsals, and more.
There is a minimum of $2,000, which may include souvenir journal pages and all donations received on behalf of the beau. Beau families must also purchase a table of 10; prices for 2025 will become available in January.

Lifelong friendships, educational workshops, dance instruction, exposure to various career paths, an introduction to philanthropy, and exposure to influential and successful black men are but a few of the reasons a young man should participate.
